Is the slide electrical switch on that gas valve in the ON position?

Can you summarize what parts you have replaced so far and what was the source of the parts?

eBay: control board (found used from very high rated seller)
Amazon: ICM, pressure switch, thermistor, automatic gas shutoff switch, high limit switch and ignitor (all new, high rated)

Post a pic of both sides of that control board. We have seen two that we’re not genuine Pentair and did not work.

Were all the parts from Amazon genuine Pentair?

Here ya go. I know the control board is good because everything but gas turned on after I replaced this and ICM whereas there was nothing prior to changing either. As for the other parts purchased via Amazon, they are represented as being genuine but in purchasing online there is always risk. I’m not sure how to tell whether they are genuine or not other than by the high reviews of each the part and seller.

That board looks good.

Pentair parts usually come in plastic bags with Pentair logo printed in blue.

Reviews are too often manipulated to be reliable anymore. And vendors have sold OEM parts to get good reviews and then substituted 3rd party equivalents. Lots of shady practices by some online vendors.

It takes gas, air, and spark to light a heater. You have air and spark. Everything points to a gas problem.

Hi all. Heater is 8 years old. New gas valve came in today. Got it installed and have progress but not all the way there yet. Gas is flowing now but doesn’t keep flowing. Gas valve opens up, try’s to light 3 times and them the service heater light comes one. The ICM flashes 3 times after this a couple times then stops. No other fault lights on. Any guess on where to look next?
