I am thinking of installing the above pump (for usual reasons of energy saving, noise reduction etc). Ordinarily I would want the pump to run to a schedule programmed via the pump control BUT I have a solar system which heats the pool (on the odd occasion that the sun shines here in England!). I want to use one of the digital inputs, triggered by the solar system, to turn the pump on (if it isn’t already running) to take in the solar heat. In the manual it says you must delete all control panel configured programmes if using the digital inputs. Does anyone know what happens if I don’t? (The Whisperflo manual says digital inputs override programmed schedules - in marked contrast to the Intelliflo saying you have to delete them). Anyone have any experience of this in practice?
