Pentair intelliflo won't hold RPM setting

Went out near the pump today (Pentair Intellifl03 VSF) and thought it sounded quiet. It was on and everything looked good, but noticed the pressure on the filter gauge was lower than usual. Checked the app and the pump RPM was set at 1,000 RPM. Previously I had it set to 2,000 RPMs. Same with the Spa and other feature. As though it had some sort of a reset without my input.

When I changed it to 2,000 RPMs, it increased as it should. When I then toggled between RPM/GPM, it automatically reset itself back to 1,000 RPMs. I tried this a few times, in a few ways, and it seems to keep doing the same thing. I searched on line but couldn't find this exact issue. At the moment, it is running at the desired 2,000 RPMs, but I know that if I touch it again, it will revert itself.

I'm also concerned that this started without my input. We haven't had any power outages (past 15 minutes), and nothing else has changed. The water chemistry has been fine as well.

Any ideas of what could be causing this and/or the resolution? Thanks

Why are you toggling between RPM and GPM?

Stay with RPM settings and do not mix RPM and GPM settings. The pump gets confused.

RPM is much more reliable and predictable.

You can report to Pentair as a bug. They have many of them.

It will probably be fixed eventually.
