Pentair Intelliflo vsf pump issues

Went to start my pump after the winter and the light came on briefly and then shut off. I popped off the keypad and inspected the circuit below to find water in in. I'm going to try letting it dry out, but if that fails, I'm assuming I'm in for a full drive replacement? The pump is already 8 years old so debating repair vs replace. Any thoughts on one vs the other?

H,

I'd dry it out and see what happens, but I would not invest money in an 8 year old pump that looks like yours...

I'd replace it with a new IntelliFlo3 for about $1600 bucks.. You'd have to do a little replumbing on the output side..

They also have drop in replacements VSF for about $2K.. But the IntelliFlo3 is a better pump..

Thanks,

Jim R.
