Hello,
I have a new pump as in title that has tripped its dedicated breaker quite a few times. The breaker is a homeline GFCI 20 amp 2 pole, and has been replaced once. After replacement It still trips breaker. I was able to capture an actual error this time, “Internal Error, Supply voltage sensor”. It always trips late at night around 3 am. I am considering putting in a small subpanel so I can put a different brand breaker on that pump but with this new error code I’m wondering if it’s the pump itself. I was wondering if anybody had any ideas to help me with this issue.
Thanks
Matt

Matt,

IntelliFlo VS pumps are known for intermittently popping GFCI breakers not made for Pentair or a Siemens substitute..

My "Cheap as they come" pool builder installed a Pentair breaker on my system just because of this issue..

I 'believe' that a Siemens Q220GF will also work, but not absolutely sure.

I would not worry about the fault as it can happen when the breaker pops and the pump still has enough power to record the failure..

Thanks,

Jim R.
