Pentair Intellicenter firmware 3.002

I just updated my Pentair iOS app to the latest 4.2.7 version. In the release notes, it described new features but said they would only be available for Intellicenter firmware version 3.002.

Has anyone seen/tried the new firmware yet?
Sorry, but I don't feel like being the guinea pig!
 
Well that may be why Pentair pulled 2.026 off its website.

I have not seen 3.002 be available anyplace.

3.002 installed!
All seemed to go smooth - I reviewed schedules and config which all seems in place.
Interesting note - immediately following the update intellicenter reported intellichlor loosing communication. This came back after several minutes. I could be remembering wrong but I swear there is now a new screen on the intelliph that scrolls between "version 2.12" and the current intellichlor output percentage.
Could the iph firmware have been updated thru rs485?
 
I missed downloading 2.026 before it was removed. I will at least download 3.002

I am curious if all is okay with @MyAZPool
He normally chimes in on threads with Pentair update discussions.

Just went to the new firmware. So far good. Mine has never worked doing OTA so always by USB. Same with others? Old was 2.026

Just not much to report on and everything with my pool is top notch.
njspC, REM and associated hardware is working flawlessly and whatever the downsides of IntelliCenter, I just live with it.
Nothing to report on from Pentair. Radio silence from them.

I watched a pentair automation webinar today (meant for service providers) and it sounds like the ota updates created such chaos in the 2.x releases that the upgrade to 3.x will be manual via USB with future minor revision updates via ota and major revisions via USB.

Did the webinar cover applying the update to indoor touch screens?

Note has been saying that for over a week. Perhaps will give option to update to 3.002. Many people never even got to any version 2.

I had been on 2.026 for 8 months or so. Just updated via USB to 3.002 about1/2 hour ago.
