It does look like they'll be updating the pump and it does fix the issue.

Intelliflo Vsf not working

I was getting the power outage and lost communication messages. After checking this forum and talking to Pentair I moved the load wires to the line side terminals on the relay. However, the pump does not seem to be working and my Pentair app is still displaying the error messages. Any advice?

have an update. Pool company sent someone today. They reflashed the controller on the pump itself. If the pump has software version 3.04 it will require the upgrade. Took less than 5 minutes & through the 485 port; the system now seems to be running properly. I’m guessing that there is an issue associated with the communications stack to the panel that was changed. It was interesting that resetting power initially seemed to fix the problem, but, only the first 3 times.

The tech said that pentair’s local guy is reprogramming many pumps & that they were asked to do it also do to work load. It rains a lot here but they were several weeks from work order to scheduling this.

For anyone that may be experiencing this
