Pentair heater is haunted

Our Pentair heater either:
1. works normally
2. trips a circuit breaker
3. tries to start but then the service light comes on
4. does nothing - no lights or any activity
5. won't turn off (current state)

Any ideas if I'm looking at a repair or replacement here?

Is it me or are Pentair's products terrible? In 5 years I've replaced 3 pumps, 3 cleaners, a blower, 2 LEDs, 1 main light, and the remote control.

How old is the heater?
Cool name btw. Can't wait to see Dune in December.
