That pump is NOT what you want. It will not even be able to be sold as of July 19,2021. A VS pump is what you want.

I agree the pump is not what you want. It will cost you more in electrical then the cost of the pump compared to a VS pump.

The US Department of Energy (DOE) has implemented new regulatory standards that require most classes of pool pumps manufactured or imported into the US beginning July 19, 2021 meet minimum energy-efficiency standards.

Important: All pumps that enter the US supply chain on or before July 18, 2021 are considered sellable inventory and can to be sold through to distribution and beyond. No product needs to be returned. The regulations only affect pumps manufactured or imported into the US on July 19, 2021 or later.

Ok - we have a Pentair intelliconnect system here in its box

The Intelliconnect has two high voltage relays. Your Jandy pump and SWG will use one of them. Then you have one relay available probably for your lights and that is it.

With the Pentair Intelliflo and IntelliChlor they would not use a relay and you woudl have it available for other devices.

The Intelliconnect is the basic Pentair system. I doubt it will control (other than maybe turning on and off) the Jandy equipment. Confirm that with the builder.

Will do - they are going to install the current Jandy pump and replace it with the variable speed Pentair when it arrives.
