Pentair clean and clear 150 inner black plastic core removal instructions

I read a few guys had problems removing the very bottom plastic inner filter core on these pentairs. All you do is put a hammer inside the ring and gently ply pressure like removing a nail all the way around it. You might need to take hammer first and just hit top of the very bottom plastic core. One time on each square top and square spacers or locking sleeves then hammer upside down and gently use other side to ply up on core.
