Most distributors(scp, pep, superior) have the technician information. They can track serial numbers of purchased item to the technician account. If they file a warranty claim it’s easy to track. These distributors don’t have the intellicenter bundle with ic60. It has to be bought separately.

I'm going through this now. I have all Pentair equipment, installed 9/1/2023. I made a mistake and purchased TradeGrade products online and my pump and Easytouch are both already out of warranty.

The equipment was installed by the company that built my pool. I spoke with a Pentair sales rep who said that Trade Grade equipment purchased online is not eligible for the 3 year warranty, or any warranty other than 2 months. Her supervisor confirmed, even though all of my equipment was installed at the same time.

Depends how you answer the question and who you bought it from "online".

ships orders from their store and any order will come with a receipt indicating it was bought through their store even if you made payment "online". There are other retailers with stores who do the same. Some ask that you call the store to order over the telephone or some equipment.

Polytec told me that if I purchased TradeGrade equipment from them and had it professionally installed only the 60 day warranty would apply.
