Has anyone used a knee high panty hose on their Polaris instead of the bag? Im trying to get the small stuff. I've read about using on skimmer basket , but wondered if it would allow enough water thru it?

They allow enough water through to add CYA to a pool, I imagine they'd act well as a filter bag.

So my only thoughts are that the original polaris bag actually has a divider in the center to help keep the debris in the bag and from falling back out into the bottom. Panty hose would not be able to do that. It would just be a big bag without the U shape of the original.
