Pad Layout Help

I added a heater this week. My priority was to get the pool warm. Now that it is I would like to redo the pad and make it better looking. My pool is plumbed with 1.5” however the heater and chlorinator are both 2”. I’m looking into some Jandy valves. I know I need to put a one way valve in front of the heater. I would also like to put a diverter in front of the heater.
Ideally I would place the heater on the other side of the filter as that places it along the wall instead of coming out into the yard.

I assume you want to redo the whole thing..

It this were my pool, I would add a concrete pad starting from the iron fence and going toward the bottom right of your first pic.

In order words, it would run 90 degrees to what you have now.

The pad would fit between the house and the plumbing, so that none of the pipes came up through the pad..

I would get rid of the ball valves and use Jandy 3-way valves in most cases.

I would space things apart so the I could easily get to my pump and filter.

A lot of work for sure..

In addition to what Jim said about equipment spacing, typical layout is pump -filter - heater. Move equipment around and dry fit the pipes and then make adjustments to the layout. It may take a few tries to get the best orientation of each unit. Don’t begin gluing until you have a good layout.
