Pad between liner and concrete

Hello,
I have a 21ft x 54in resin feet, rails, and caps.
I'm having a pad poured for the pool to sit on.
I am seeing a lot of mixed opinions about what pad to put between the concrete and liner.
I currently have an armor shield pad.
I'm also curious if anyone can comment on the hardness on the feet for pools setup on concrete.

Wall foam is popular... well taped... a gorilla pad gets mentioned also.
When taping be sure to tape down the center, then tape down each side of that center tape to insure a good seal.

The liners are really only thick tarps. The cement will have not give to it and the liner will not add padding for your feet. I also suggest house foam for the bottom to help cushion the floor better.

There's not a good reason to pour a pad for a pool.

I would use 1" foam on top of a pad, same as I used on dirt.

Make sure to tell them you need it level. They pitch everything else for runoff and it's greatly counterproductive to then have to level the pool. I'd spray paint the request on the grass in case the workers who show up didn't get the memo.
