Over my head in Wisconsin

The Bengals do love water. The toilet is their favorite event. :/
Not sure how they will react to the pool....

I thought about a diving board - maybe someday. Maybe a rope swing...

In 2006 I put Ultraguard epoxy over the failed plaster. It appears to have held up pretty well. It's a duller green now and not the bright shiny blue when I put it on, but it didnt flake or chalk too badly on me. I'm happy with how it cleaned up with just a simple pressure wash. I haven't even gone over it with a TSP solution yet - just water so far.

The pool surface could definitely be improved but it should be more than functional as is for now. If I had the money to do it right I would look at a product that could smooth out the imperfections in the surface better - like maybe an epoxy mortar or pebbletech etc.

Ya the kids love the zip line. Goes from the tree house in the big oak to another oak. It gets lots of use :)
You can just see it in the back of this picture below.

Finished an end wall today - more work than I thought it would be but its done. You can see the opening for the big double doors.

It's not difficult to set up if you have the space. I'd offer some recommendations on what I learned if you get serious.

Marian, Zip over and say hi to the goats :)

I would be worried with the slope of my yard the kids would get going too fast. The friend I have with a zip line has a pretty level lot and they are able to have a slight angle to the line from one tree to the other.

This isnt the exact kit I went with but it gives you a good idea.

The important bit is the stop block and bungie cord that acts as a brake - its by far the safest and best way to set up a zip line stop without making it slow and boring.
Also, if using a tree some wood blocks to protect the bark is highly recommended or you will kill it. This is nice but I made my own out of 2X4 scraps. http://www.ziplinegear.com/store/product/tree-saver-block-kit

You will need a come-along to tighten the cable - trust me you wont be able to do it without one. You can rent these or buy them. I bought one since I thought I might want to take it down or move it one day.
