So my pump is hot to the touch ,it turns on for about 3-5 seconds and seems like it’s gonna keep going but it trips breaker. I changed the capacitor and breaker is fine. My question is I left the robot vacuum going all night after the pump turns off at night( it’s in a timer). Would this do something to pump?? I don’t think it’s a coincidence, but I don’t want to buy a new pump If I don’t have to. Almost end of season! Lol. Any help is appreciated

Welcome to TFP.

I doubt your robot pool cleaner has anything to do with your pump problems.

What model pump?

Post pics of the pump and the motor data plate and the circuit breaker.

How old is the pump and motor?
