Yep I did it like the video. So I counted 16 of the #9 drops and it turned the bright pink. When you did the TA test, you added 2 drops of thiosulfate, then 5 drops of reagent #008? The sample should turn green at this point. Then you start adding reagent #9 1 drop at a time swirling between drops. You stop adding drops when the solution turns red. It may not look like a true red. See this video for more info: https://www.google.com/search?clien...nstructions#kpvalbx=_1vi7YOKvB5XttQbo1I-wCA76
Ph 8.2So you have a TA of 160. You don't need to add any more baking soda. Did you test pH after adding baking soda?
Tell him sure, ask if he wants to pay for the $300 in chemicals with cash or cardThank you all for the help. I added the acid and have set a timer. My husband suggested that if this doesn’t work I should go back to the pool store.
I’d really like to avoid that.
then remind him their first piece of advice was to change the sand in the filter after the first $$$ of chemicals failedTell him sure, ask if he wants to pay for the $300 in chemicals with cash or card
Then remind him the baking soda cost $8
I can predict most of it. 12 pounds powder power 4 pounds green out 2 gallons acid FLoc and maybe a clarifier.Tell him sure, ask if he wants to pay for the $300 in chemicals with cash or card
Then remind him the baking soda cost $8
