Heyas,
I’ve followed along, and have asked a handful of questions here, and have been keeping my water nice and clean, so thank you!
I’ve also been trying to find my optimal balance with percentage of SWG production with readings at sundown and before sunrise. I think I found it! Looking for confirmation, and/or further insight.
I found, running at 20%, 1250 rpms(?), 24/7, that I have 10.5 ppm chlorine in the morning, and 10 ppm after a full day of sun. Is 10 too high? It’s the highest side of the range, as I understand it. My CYA rounds up to 70, and that’s on the low-ish side of in range, as I understand it. Should I try 10% production?
Also, no matter what I do, my pool’s pH likes to climb, but usually slows down just below 8, which is high side of okay, but not great? The calibrated pH reader from the test kit is where I get my numbers, the little “guess my hue” reader seems to be a little lower than that, but always in that peachy range. We good here?
Any thoughts or insights are appreciated.
Photo included, just because it’s so fresh and so clean.
