I can't believe how little power this pump draws. Granted, I have to turn off the main drain to get any skimming action but at just 60 watts, I have no problem running it 24/7

Welcome to the club. It gets larger everyday. Wait till you see how skimmed and clean the pool is. Wait till you see how 24/7 FC production easily overcomes most of the weather events that cause problems for people. There was no reason for it, but this year i splurged all the way up to 212 watts and 1600 Rpms.

Yup. Its one of those things that's hard to believe until you see it with your own eyes.

I have a dozen or more friends that saw mine with their own eyes and still came up with excuses on why the pump that costs them $100 a month is better.
