Hi,

Company that I used to open the pool recommend using Omni Clear Magic. I told him I will do some research and get back to him. Is this recommended?

That's probably a flat out no. How are you testing? Are you using the recommended testing kits such as TF-100 Test Kit ™ and without proper testing nobody here can help you. Get the test kit ordered asap. Let us know all the pool levels when you test. Fill out you signature so members here trying to help can see all your equipment rendering you the correct answers.

That product is a clarifier. Clarifier should never be used for maintenance. Only after flooding of the pool of debris from run off or other massive solids bearing inundations.
Only chitosan based clarifier should ever be used. SeaKlear is an acceptable manufacturer.
