I have been a pool owner of an above ground pool for about 20 years. My first 24 foot round was used and failed in a wind storm. I put up a new one in early 2000's and have been a happy pool owner since. I found TFP about 5 years ago which has helped me immensely with maintaining my pool chemical balance and I no longer need to purchase all the stuff I used to get from pool stores. I currently use liquid bleach (or liquid shock from Menards) for both my pool and hot tub and love it. I have not had a green pool since I started. I live in Iowa so my pool season is May to August but my hot tub season is all year. We love sitting in the hot tub on a nice cool night (sometimes in the teens... Fahrenheit) and look at the stars.
