Have a 32.000 gal plaster wet edge pool. Became lazy this fall and did not notice my SWG was failing. Added salt without checking the #'s, pool was clear so all is good - right? Not. Anyway finally took a sample to local pool store and salt was at 4000. CH was at 734. pH was also low - under 7 so I brought that back up (baking soda). Then I remembered I have the Taylor salt test which confirmed the high #. Needed to get the salt down to verify the swg is not working. Pool is currently filling. I tested my tap water - CH is at 150. Do I need to test anything else from the tap? I plan on balancing initially when filled with CYA and liquid bleach - which do I start with? Do I test the pool water and verify everything is at 0? I have the pool calc app so I know what to add, just want to go in the correct order.
