What would cause my Chlorine reading to go up overnight doing the OCLT. At 11:00 I took a reading off 22.5 . Now at 5:45am the reading is at 25. Yes, abuse the FAS-DPD kit. New sand put in our filter before starting SLAM.

Either the water circulation was not consistent or adequate for one of those tests, a testing error of some kind, or the SWG was still on.
Testing method error. There is a mistake somewhere in your technique. FC cannot EVER go up unless you added some FC. Was your SWG off?
Yes. Saltwater generator is off.I have been doing the same testing morning and night.
We will be swimming today. Passed all three criteria . Dead algae must have been in the old sand.
