O/B in Gilbert, AZ for 2nd time

I just went into the backyard and heard some loud water. It was coming from the direction of the pool equipment and I was hoping nothing was leaking. Looked up and saw that our neighbor 2 houses down had his deck jets on. Those things are LOUD. I wouldn't want to try to carry on a conversation with them on sitting by the pool and it's not a soothing sound you'd want to hear thru open windows. Now I know what all of you are talking about when you mention how loud they are.

SWEET!!! That looks great! Don't forget you get to start bonding with it aka watering it to help slow down the curing.

It is time for your set of links! The first set is all about what to do and ask about to get a great plaster job. The second set is all about how to care for your pool after you get the plaster.

Now is also a good time to ask what test kit your PB will be providing so we can fill in any holes.

@kimkats I just read the first one and it says water should not be added for 5 hours after the plaster is done. I know that happens with pebble but with a plaster finish they usually put the hose in when they are finished, at least in my experience. Is this really a huge no no?

Yeah, the plasterer puts the hose in when they are done since they don’t want to hang around or come back in 5 hours.

You will find there are many shortcuts they may take. Most owners don’t know the difference .
