NPT Stonescapes - mysterious “sand”????

Hi there,
We had our pool plastered with Stonescapes Mini Pebble about 4 months ago. We are getting quite a bit of something that looks and feels like sand and I have no idea where it is coming from. Our pool thought it could be calcium? We do not have a sand filer. Any ideas?

That does look sand...............Lets see some numbers then I have an idea for testing it.

Here are the test results from Leslie’s today. I am going to order a Taylor test kit today.

Take some of the "sand" and pour some muriatic acid on it. Let me know what it does. Be careful!
