Not quite open

So I had to get some repairs done to my coping before opening and although it will be fully opened in a couple days I have noticed the slight green tint getting greener. My ph was high, 8.0 or higher, and no FC. Getting my CL tomorrow but since I had some Muriatic acid and have worked in lowering my PH in the meantime. Should I just wait for Thursday or get some CL in there. The pic is from Friday last week.

If you want to go ahead and toss chlorine in there, at least scoop out all those leaves or it will be a waste of time.

Yeah, definitely get the leaves out asap. That is algea food heaven. Yeah, I would lower the ph right away also, then get the Chlorine in asap. Chlorine works better when the ph is closer to 7.5 than 8. Leaves out, ph down, Chlorine in.
