Looking to add SWG to my 32K GA inground pool - probably Circupool Universal 55.

I've got a power limitation because everything is 110V. I can't support the required SWG amperage when my two-speed pump is on high. (Pulling new wires is not feasible either.)

At low setting, I'm probably getting 12-15GPM, but Circupool specifies 20GPM minimum.

Has anyone run this at lower GPM? Does it work?
Has anyone tried modifying the flow switch so it triggers at low flow?
Any danger in actually running the SWG at 15 GPM? I wouldn't think so but looking for info...

Thanks

Flow switch on mine is happy all the way down to 800 rpm on my VSP. I don’t run that low but not due to the SWCG

thanks for the answers.

I installed my old flow meter, and it looks like I'm getting 18-22 GPM at low speed. And found another post where someone did modify the flow sensor.

Looks like it's time to pull the trigger...

The flow switch is the Secondary safety device. So do not disable it.

The Primary safety device is wiring the SWCG so it is completely powered off when the pump is off. So be sure that is true.
The SWCG operating without the pump running can result in an explosion. Does not happen often, but does happen.

yep I won't disable it. But if I need to, I'll adjust it to trigger at a lower flow. The post I linked above describes one way to do this.
