No Return to Spa

There is no water returning to the spa when in solar and pool/modes; but there is water returning to the spa when the spillway is on. In pool mode, the diverter valve is set to return water to the pool and the spa. The diverter and check valves seem to be ok. Not sure where to go with this. Thanks for your help.

If the first picture, IMG_3450.jpg, is the "pool" mode, it looks like the spa port on the pool/spa valve is completely shut. That valve needs to be set so that a small amount goes to the spa at all times to keep the water "fresh."

In the pic, your Return valve is set to send half the water to the spa and the other half to the pool..

If you don't see the spa spilling over into the pool with the set-up in your pic, then your pump is running too slow or most likely your filter is dirty.. It takes more effort to send the water to the spa then it does to send it back to the pool and the water will take the path of least resistance.

If you have the spillway function set up, then all the water will be returned to the spa, so it can't take the easy path back to the pool.

When was your filter cleaned??

My filter was last cleaned in May and I plan to clean it again next week. My pump is running at 2000 rpm in pool mode. I know this is probably high, but it's the only way I could get some spillover into the pool when in pool mode. As I mentioned, there is no return to the spa in pool/auto or solar modes. There is, however, water coming into the spa from the return and jets when in spillway and spa modes.

I still think that if you clean the filter, your spillover would start working again...
