No lights.

So today was supposed to be the day. We did the final hookup on electrical and flipped the switch for the lights and the bubblers came on and the nicheless wall lights nada. Pool builder says easy to fix. Does anybody know how you do this? Any resources?

Will we have to lower the water? I have a fiberglass pool and a high water table?

Depends where the problem is.

More likely a wiring problem outside the pool.

Are the lights connected to a transformer? You check the transformer has voltage in and out?

What controls the lights?

The lights do connect to a transformer. All four lights connect to the same transformer. Two work two don’t, since two work I figured the problem wasn’t the transformer. A single switch controls the lights coming out of the transformer. Again two come on and two do not.

The two that do run through the same conduit and connect to the conduit with the two that don’t.

First thing I would do is check the connections at the light wires.

Wherever the light wires connect. May be a pool light junction box or at the transformer.

So in the most embarrassing of moments I realized the builder just hadn’t removed the light covers.Maybe why we didn’t see the light. Wow were they effective.
