Hello everyone, First, thank you for letting me be a part of this forum. I really hope one of you can help me with the problem I have, so my system doesn't generate chlorine anymore. First of all, my cells are really clean, and my salt water level is perfect, but when I test the water, it says 0 chlorine, and the system doesn't give me any alarm code. Everything works fine, like says are generated chlorine with green light. I tried to boost for 48 hours and still had the same problem: no chlorine. I bouth the system last year and it was working fine. I really don't know why I am having this problem, so please someone can help me and give me some advice, like how to test the cells to see if they work. I have been in electronics for 40 years, but I don't have any electric diagrams to troubleshoot the problem, thank you in advance.

Welcome to TFP!!!

How are you testing your water? Having a recommended test kit is needed to troubleshoot. Link-->Test Kits Compared

Having said that, it is possible that you have algae, and the cell just can't keep up.

If you have a recommended kit, then do this test tonight, it will tell you if you have algae, even if you can't see it. Link-->Overnight Chlorine Loss Test

If you fail OCLT, then follow the slam process. Link-->SLAM Process

If you don't have a test kit, I would add 3ppm of liquid chlorine to the pool daily until it arrives.

You always want to maintain your FC based on your CYA. Link-->FC/CYA Levels

Finally, if you don't have algae, SWCG is not good at raising FC. Use liquid chlorine to raise your FC to target range (see FC/CYA link), then test FC level after sunset. Turn the cell on boost, and run it and pump overnight. Before sunrise, go back and test FC again. If your cell is working, you should see a rise in FC.

How big is your pool? Your system, with a 10K pool should create 7.5FC per day.
