We have a newly installed concrete pool with attached spa. Having problems with the spa jet pressure. Same pool company maintained the pool and spa the entire summer. They were made aware of our dissatisfaction on the spa jet pressure. The company first changed out the original spinning heads to single jet heads while adjusting the Pentair equipment. Re-adjusted spa equipment again and were able to increase some pressure but not to our satisfaction.
The company has done further research with Pentair along with sending in a video of the spa while in operation. Pentair told our pool company
the spa equipment was properly sized. The pool company has followed up letting me know that the next step would be to install a partial bypass which would partially bypass the filter and heater while the jets were in operation.
Is there a way to personally measure the water pressure coming out of the heads once the spa is opened back up in the spring time.
I feel something was not sized or installed properly when the pool was designed.
Comments would be greatly appreciated.
