Newly filled pool - start balancing

Asking for a friend: in what order should we start balancing the chemistry? Since some affect the other, like TA and pH. Which first?

75000 gallons plastered pool (10 ft deep)

Test results with Taylor K2006C testkit :
TA 0?? Turned red rightaway
PH ?? Color yellow in test result
CYA 80
FC 0?? never turned pink when adding 0871

Can/will chlorinate by using tablets/pucks (stabilized) and Calcium-Hypochlorite 68% granulated. No liquid chlorine available unfortunately. I know raising the FC this way will probably raise the CYA too, which is already quite high. Any advice?

It is not possible for CYA to be 80. CYA does not occur naturally.

If TA is 0, raise TA to 60 with baking soda. THEN raise your pH to around 7.4 using 20 Mule Team Borax

Not doing much yet except chlorinate with pucks. I'm trying to get him to do it by your guidelines. But I guess I stepped in too late,.fresh water would've been better.

If your testing is correct that is crappy water. High CYA and highly acidic. All signs of long term Trichlor tablet use.

Follow post #2 and get your TA and pH in range.

I think it will be a lot easier to get fresh water in if you can only use tablets. Then you start with CYA of 0. There is no solution to high CYA other then draining the water.

Anytime CYA gets over 100 the pool will need to be drained about 70% to get it back to around 30.

Too much use of tablets to get the chlorine high CYA needs will get to you highly acidic water.
