I took over this pool from my mother late last summer. She had a new vinyl liner put in last summer looked beautiful last year. Unfortunately my mother passed away and her pool turned green and I was told by her pool company to put in this whole bottle of some type of algaecide and then put in some this flocculant and wait 24hrs and then vacuum to waste. Well long story short her motor or pump something stopped working and the vacuum kept losing prime and I couldn't get this pool cleaned out. So I called the pool company and they said to just super shock it and close it for the winter since it was the end of September and they needed to close the pool. So they closed it up for they winter with all that nasty dead algae (looks whitish) in the pool. They said they would put on the new motor when they open it. So now they finally re-opened it this year last week and after me calling them every day when they were going to open it and put on a new motor. I was able to clean up most of the debri but now have that whitish scale stains that I can not brush off the walls and on parts of the bottom and I do not know what to do to get this off the liner. Any ideas would be welcome!!!
