Newbie in town

If those are your own test numbers above from the K-2006, then I would do the following:
- Add stabilizer using the sock soaking method. You need to increase the CYA to at least 30.
- Add 3 ppm of liquid chlorine to avoid algae.
- Since your TA was low and you added increaser, test again in about 30 minutes to see what your new TA is. If it's 60 or above, then you can treat the pH with some muriatic acid. - The pH needs to be anywhere between 7.2-7.8.

The liquid stabilizer will be a bit problematic to use. The entire gallon will add 70 ppm CYA. You do not want that much. And trying to use part of a jug is very difficult. If that is all you have, shake it up real good and add half. Then raise your FC to 5ppm with liquid chlorine. Test CYA in a couple days.

Then go swimming.

Good morning pool people. So took a sample when I got up.Doesnt seem like the tabs are helping the chlorine level, gonna run out and see if I can grab some liquid. Do I shock this? You think I'm good to have people kto swim? Thank you.
Ph 7.2-7.4

CYA, looks like 40-35, but can barely see dot
FC .4
CC. .4

Ok I'm out getting some liquid. How long til we can get in after I add it?
5 minutes. Pour it in slowly, like pencil thin stream over a return. Brush bottom for 30 seconds to protect from chlorine sitting on the bottom. It mixes quickly.
