You need to confirm your cya with the proper test before adding any incase you need to do the
SLAM Process since you have had some time with fc @ zero & may have organics brewing.
Taylor K2006 +salt (available on Amazon & other online retailers)
Or
Tf100/pro +salt (available @tftestkits.net)
are what you need to get.
Test Kits Compared
Both contain this test & all the necessary tests get your pool in tip top shape. All Other kits are missing key components.
If you ever added trichlor or dichlor (powdered shock or tablets) you likely have some cya already in the water.
*Until your kit comes- Add 5ppm worth of liquid chlorine per day to keep things sanitary & prevent it from getting worse.
Use
PoolMath to calculate amounts.
Once it comes, do all the tests & list your results here in this thread like this

& we can help you from there.
in your location with a swg your cya should eventually be around 70ppm to prevent all the fc your swg makes from being consumed by the sun

But before you increase it that high you will want to do an
Overnight Chlorine Loss Test to rule out algae/organics, the kit is necessary to do the overnight chlorine loss test.
If you pass the oclt, you can increase cya to the 60-70 range, chlorinate to the corresponding target

or a scootch above
FC/CYA Levels & set the swg to maintain that target
If you fail the oclt or you have visible algae/cloudy water you should only raise cya to 30ppm & do the
SLAM Process as slam level is much higher for higher cya levels and this can make the slam more difficult.
While you’re waiting for your kit to arrive so you can take action here’s a little homework for you…
