Just started taking care of our pool, bought the big test kit from the trouble free test kit site. Here is the list of items needed for underwriting: Here are the numbers.

Chlorine level is 0 almost, slight yellow tinge and didnt turn pink on drop test

Cya 60ish.

15k gal fiberglass pool in FL. Pool is cloudy today, looked great until today.

If the powder didn't turn pink, you've got no chlorine.

That is the first thing you need to address. Use Pool Math, set up your pool information, enter the CYA number of 60, and calculate how much chlorine to add. You can use bleach or liquid chlorine, just make sure to set that up in Pool Math for whichever you're using. Bleach is usually 6%.

Go add chlorine now! Wait 30 minutes with the pump running, test again with the powder and drops, get all these numbers for us.

Once you have added chlorine, your next project is to reduce your pH into the mid 7's. Do this right away.
