New pool owner with no clue on how to get sparkling clear water. Spent $200 at pool store because water test showed low ph high chlorine and algae. Shutdown pool four days shocking cleaning filters shocking cleaning and still not as clear as I believe it should be. Please help! Thank You
 
Hello fellow SA owner and welcome to TFP! :wave: A few things to help get you on track:
- Avoid the pool store like the plague. They are expensive and almost never provide accurate test results or advice.
- Test your own water! That's #1. Get a TF-100 (link in my signature) or Taylor K-2006C. That's a priority.
- Then post a full set of results from one of those test kits; we'll coach you.
- Download the PoolMath APP and update your profile.
- Also update your TFP signature with all of your pool info and equipment. See mine as an example.
- Read/save the link below. All of its sub-articles will help.
