New to me pool owner

Recently purchased home with pool. Searching internet and landed here with a good feeling about the members and information. Having never been a pool owner, I'm ready to get started and learn to manage our pool the TFP way.

4 years ago, I was in the same position you. You'll be just fine. Open (chlorinate) your pool before the water get to 60 degrees and you will likely avoid a green startup.

Temp under cover was 55 deg today. Thanks for support, will follow advice on other post in getting started.
