New to IntelliCenter and have questions.

Hello all. This is my first post.

Just got intellicenter installed a week ago and trying to apply my programming knowledge to program some things in intellicenter but things are not as straight forward. But I don’t want to limit myself to programming only. I also have setup issues that I need advice on.

Here we go.

1. I have a BuiltRight heat pump. The installer set it up as a gas heater. Should not be changed or is it ok?

2. My VSF PUMP is running full speed to push 30 GPMs when in SPA mode. This only started after the install. Reading some articles indicates that the pumps maximum pressure needs to be upped from default 30 PSI to a higher value. But since it’s managed in Intellicenter now, I cannot find Max Pressure setting as I know it exist in Pentair Home app. This is a concern because one of my jets does not seem to have enough to generate flow or bubbles. Any advice on this would be appreciated.

3. This one is a wish list item that I wish can be done. I’d like to turn my spa light to RED when heater is on in spa mode.

Any help or suggestions will be highly appreciated.

That is your only control option with the Built Right.

If you got a Pentair UltraTemp HP it can be controlled by RS-485 communication but Built Right does not do that with an IntelliCenter.

What model VSF pump are we discussing?

Where did you read about a 30 PSI maximum pressure?

30 GPM in a spa sounds low for a pump running at full speed.

You can change your light color but the IntelliCenter cannot do it automatically.
