We added more decking to ours too in the middle of the build. SUPER glad we did. You wont regret it.

We got swamped with rain yesterday. PB said they may frame the decking tomorrow or Saturday.

We can’t take the decking all the way to the fence so we can walk up to the equipment - HOA... We will have stepping stones or a path we make though.
Okay, glad you have a plan. There will be times you want to go to the equipment then right back into the pool which=grass and stuff from your feet into pool.

That really shows how your elevation changes from the front to the back. Are they making sure to give it a slight slope away from the pool and house?

Yes - they were adjusting for that today when they were setting the frame. There is about an 18” slope in from the house to the fence.
You are moving right along! Smart move to get approved for more decking now! You guys will be very happy with your new addition to the back yard!
One landscaper offered a design, but at $13,000 I think we will be looking around...
Any input on how much to expect to spend on landscaping, sprinklers, sod, etc... and ideas for our pool would be helpful.

We are definitely looking around. We want the yard to look good, but don’t need it to look like something out of a magazine.
Cement for decking will be tomorrow and also prep for Pebble Sheen. The travertine decking looks like it may be last due to limited availability of the stone contractor... Likely 2-3 weeks out to finish up
Pebble Tec company is already on site at 7 AM to prepare the pool for plaster. It puts smile on my face as I drive to work. It’s like opening a Christmas present when I get home to see what’s changed.
