New Test Strip - not sure what all means - pink on PH is what? Is CYA low?

I know you may not have access to better test kits, but there is a reason we call them guess strips. They are just not good enough to use for anything.

yes - live in tropics - is no test kits here - will buy in August when am home so will have that then. have this now =) Added Chlorine - have both tablet and 70% powder one. Added Dry Acid. Added CYA. So what is best guess? I think PH is pink so that is okay or is it high? CYA I think is low? Everything else seems okay? I put more tablets in to try to get more CYA - but maybe I need to just buy stabilizer if its that low? Only power CYA here so maybe another 1KG?

I'd call your FC 3, your pH 6.8 and your CYA 0. Raise your pH to about 7.4, raise your CYA to 30 and your FC to 8.
If this was on a fresh fill, use PoolMath to calculate how much CYA you have added.

Ty ordering Ash and more stablizer. Pool is coming along. Using 5 times less chlorine already since adding the CYA - saving money! Been a year and I just didnt' pay attention but yep - 1 KG a day of chlorine powder was killing my wallet!
