I use the TFT-100. Besides refills for chemicals that are running low, any recommendations for what nshould be replaced due to age if bought last year? Should I just plan on buying a complete set every year?

Naw, you don't *have* to if you don't need it. I'd say they tend to be good for about 18 months. And that's assuming you've stored the kit in a proper manner (not outside in the heat, etc).
Many do of course replace everything when TFTestkits.net has a yearly sale on a replacement set in March or whenever they need to. Or just buy the individual elements as they start to run down.

Well, I stored them out in my garage all winter 
So not in the heat, but certainly got below freezing. What do you think?
