New Poolmath Look?

It went live the other day

I updated last night and I don’t think I’m a fan of the visual changes. I can’t quite put my finger on what it is but I think it’s the extra text. I liked the acronyms from before instead of everything being spelled out. Minor, personal issue as that is obviously very subjective. Some of the other screens seem to have extra, unnecessary (IMO) text and explanations also.

Also, it doesn’t have the snippets at the top anymore about being outside of ideal ranges. Not a big deal but I did like quickly knowing if everything was in “ideal” range or not. My pH and TA for example are within the recommended range but outside of the ideal range. The app would have made note of that at the top in the past.

I feel so left out 😑
Still no update for me…
Fun fact- when I look in the App Store at all my apps in an attempt to find a manual update option Poolmath isn’t there!
It shows in my subscriptions.

Update! FFW a few minutes—>
I went & just searched it up on the appstore (as if i wanted to get it)
It showed “open” since I already have it of course.
Clicked on the words (not the open button) & there was the update option!
Doing it now! 🤞🤞

How do I get this latest with my Android? When I go to the playstore it shows as already installed and only give an option to open the app. Usually it will say upgrade. Do I need to delete it then re-install or is it just not available for me yet? I am on the Samsung S10e (Android 12) so it's a little outdated.

That'll teach you to install updates. :whip:

*although to be fair to Jon and Lee hiccups are expected and they did spectacular to pass them quickly.
Its silly because my last results (from multiple dates) are listed in the overview boxes but there’s no logs

Try deleting & reinstalling- it should reinstall the latest version

I’ll verify with the developer tomorrow to ensure your Samsung S10e (Android 12) is compatible. It should be, as it isn’t that old, but we want to make 110% sure.

Currently, we’re doing a very slow phased rollout that’s actually been “paused” to avoid automatic updates being forced at this time. I’m wondering if this pause is making it so the newest version of PoolMath isn’t being shown to you on your device. App Store guidelines require us to do an automatic rollout after a certain period of time (around 30 days), so if my theory is correct, you should automatically see the app update soon if your device is set to auto-update.

For now, I’d recommend waiting a bit longer to see if the update becomes available. If you don’t see it soon, then we can consider reinstalling the app.
