New pool wanting to hard plumb

Re: DIY Hard Plumbing Suggestion

Here ya go!

Click on the pics to make them bigger.

Note the unions every where you might need to take apart to work on or replace something.

Also note the valves under the skimmer and return. I would NOT get this kind of valve though as they can break. These are better:

I hope this helps!

Re: DIY Hard Plumbing Suggestion

Thank you everyone. There was a thread under Intex pools, but the pictures no longer appear. I think that it would be helpful to have a thread with information for newbies on how to hard plumb, with instructions and the necessary parts. Plus, pictures.

DIY Hard Plumbing Suggestion

That is a great idea. Feel free to start that thread. I'm sure many others would find it useful.
If you use the search box you can probably find a few people that have done the conversion for an Intex pool and some of the nuances that go with the Intex. Also how to deal with the Intex fittings.

Needing pictures of hard plumbing, please help!!

I would greatly appreciate any pictures from anyone who has hard plumbed their pool. Our new pool was installed today and filled with water, unfortunately our pool installer does NOT hard plumb. My husband and I are left with trying to figure out how to do this. Pictures would help us tremendously.

Umm, didn't you already start a thread about this?
Edit: this is your fourth thread about that same subject, if you keep within the same thread you won't get the same answers multiple times. Feel free to bump your previous thread so it gets more exposure.
Edit part deux: thanks mods for pulling these threads together...

Use the search box on the upper right and you can search the whole forum for this.

In addition to all the great help you have received from current active members there are hundreds of threads about hard plumbing AG pools in the above ground pool forum that people have posted over the years.

Could you please explain why having shut off valves are so important to have right below the skimmer and return?
My husband is racking his brain trying to figure out how to hard plumb out new pool.
Plus, we will be installing a Raypak 206 btu ng heater.
