Morning folks! So our plans for a new pool in our current home may be changing due to a potential move later this year. I've pulled up the permits and lot layouts off the city website as well as walked the 2 lots we are interested in and the 1st choice has a minor slope and retaining wall out back and I wanted to get some opinions if a pool without any major engineering (piers) would be ok.

I contacted the soil engineering company this builder used but haven't heard back so waiting on that piece. I am attaching some pictures for reference.

Any advice/thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Our plan is a free form pool at least 10 feet away from the slop and not extending too far out towards the biggest part of that retaining wall. Many thanks!

Bump for opinions. Still waiting to hear from the local geo engineering company who worked this development. Not looking like I will get a reply from them tho. :(

You may have to pay for them to give you the data or get them or another soil engineer to do a survey to know for sure.. Anyone else is guessing and you do not want to buy a property on a guess...
