New pool - leathered vs sandblasted marble for decking, slippery?

Just signed a contract for new pool in South Florida. Trying to choose between leathered vs sandblasted marble for decking. My wife likes the look of leathered, but I am more concerned about safety and slipping, so I was favoring the sandblasted. We looked at samples yesterday, and it happened to be torrential rain when we arrived at the warehouse. We were able to step down onto wet samples of each. The leathered felt fine, not too slippery. Just taking a poll here to see if anyone that has leathered marble is happy with how slippery it is or isn't or if anyone regrets getting the leathered because it is too slippery.

My next door neighbor has some marble on their front walkway, and it is raining today. I just walked over with bare feet and it feels too slippery for me. But I don't know what type of finish it has, leathered or other, and I know its been sealed so I don't know what type of sealer and if sealer makes it more slippery or not.

Thanks for any feedback.

At this point we are continuing with the leathered marble. Wife is getting her way. Pool not getting started until November, so I have time, but not sure it will change. Check back after its done, and too late, then I can give you the final verdict. Lol.

HI! I'm deciding this now. What did you go with? Anti-slip is super important to me. It's between shell-lock, leather marble or Travertine. I've always felt other's Travertine was still slippery enough....I love my leather granite countertop so I assume the marble will be the same.
