New Pool in VA, got the first quote

Ok so I got a more detailed quote if we could get a second or third set of eyes on it please I deleted the original post in its entirety.

Imagine Inspiration 35’
Filtration
- 1 surface skimmer
- 2 Graeme Baker approved main drain sump pumps
- 3 wall type return inlets
- all plumbing to be glue weld pressure type solid or flex schedule 40
Equipment
- 4x8’ concrete pad
- Hayward vs super pump
- s244 24” sand filter with 300lbs media and 1.5” multi port valve
- Hayward 25k swg
- Hayward summit xl heatpump

Those are kind of the nuts and bolts on the pool side. We’re doing pavers for the decking and a couple retaining walls and an aluminum fence.
Seem reasonable?

-LED light - how many? What model?
-Pentair Superflo VS pump - What model number?
-Triton sand filter - Model number? size?
-4x4x4x8 cantilevered concrete decking
-Salt chlorine generator - What model number? SWG should be at least 2X your pool volume.
-S-200 robotic cleaner - ok
-“Upgraded” safety mesh cover - what manufacturer cover?

Pentair Globrites have poor reliability and fit in a proprietary niche. Look into nicheless lights like the MicroBrites...

What are the dimensions and gallons of your pool? I’m thinking it’s fiberglass?

I haven’t been able to find the gallons, it’s a 16x35 fiberglass. I’m guessing like 17k? It’s a free form shape with a decent size ledge. The rectanglar calculation for that size/depth is 21k but with the curved edges and that ledge 17 is best guess.

Yea, we ordered this guy Carolina Pavilion - Yardistry Structures - Gazebos, Pavilions and Pergolas on sale from Lowes in December, so will go up once they finish with the decking. Plan is to pour some concrete footers to be able to bolt it down since the deck is pavers

Congrats on the new pool. Part of the reason you're not getting responses on the equipment is the details matter. Please get the model numbers requested in post #2. It appears your swg may be undersized. TFP recommends sizing for 2x your volume. If you can get the model number we can tell for certain. If the builder will not give you the model numbers that's not a good indication.

I got the actual volume number of the pool and it’s 12,260, so seems like a 25k swg should be fine

That's correct if the swg is truly capable of 25K. I still recommend you get the model number. Trust but verify is a good policy when dealing with any constructor until you know him very, very well.

Thanks. And yea I’ll be doing it myself. Picked up the recommended Taylor kit from Leslie’s
