with the rains expected tomorrow we had them cover the dig. We are done with the dig and of course a massive storm coming for the weekend. Any other tips for protecting the work?

Injections were done this morning. The tech mentioned it seemed to react very well with our soil and said the rain we had actually helps the process. Could be doing belly steel and short stub plumbing today! Hoping to get to Gunite by Thurs/Friday.

BTW I woke to about 3ft of water at 630am from the storms here in N Texas, the pump the PB put in the pool worked well and got it all out in about an hour.

Looking good... I hope we dont regret not getting injections, by builder said my soil survey didnt quite justify it. And I hope most of this rain is over... it added 2 months to my build. I dont like to see anyone go through what we did.

They dont use those they said they use bricks, they hack them in half and put them under the steel.

So this happened around a drain....my PB said its just a sag and will send a gunite crew out to chip and patch it. No issues....and that gunite bonds to gunite....tell me this is true!
