Hello, I'm finishing the lower level of my home and before I have the drywall go up I want to run the proper electrical from my Sub-Panel to the exterior wall of the home where I plan on putting my equipment pad. I was going to pull 1 run of 125' 8/3 Type NM-B Cable with Ground. What do you think? Should be good, no need for 6/3?? My future plan is to install an inground Fiberglass pool, gas heat, auto cover, and booster pump for a pool cleaner. Thanks for any input.

8 gauge NM-B will give you 40 amps.
6 gauge will give you 55 amps.
I would run the 6 gauge.

I second ajw22 recommendation of #6 which would handle at least 60A. It would handle the pumps and cover and controls.
