Hello friends! We had a very bad pool year last year... incredibly frustrating. I found this group late in the season and I hope to get additional support so we can enjoy the pool! I'm also thinking of some new things I have found online and wanted to ask if any of you use these:
- Skim-a-round: I found the concept interesting. What's the verdict? The Floating Skimmer
- Waterguru: we used bioguard for our saltwater pool. The only lab is 35 minutes away. I'm looking to break the ties with the expensive brand as I see here many salt water pool owners test at home and just add chemicals as needed. This is very intimidating to me but I'm willing to try. Water Guru doesn't show salt content but shows FC. Is this a good product for my situation or is there a better digital tester that also captures salt content? Automated Smart Pool Water Monitor | WaterGuru
- We use smartshield but I honestly think its placebo. We are in the northeast and have very cool evenings. I'm considering a solar cover but the reviews show these tipically only last one season. Is that true? But if they work, the savings in the electrical would definitely be worth it even if I have to buy a new one each season. Is there a brand you can recommend? Found this one on Amazon Amazon.com
Thank you!
